Piper Cams are CNC manufactured with full inspection. The state-of- the-art equipment allows them to work to the tightest tolerances in the industry. There is every likelihood of a perfect match with over 2500 profiles held on their database. 

Cams are manufactured from your own cast cams, or can be manufactured from steel billet in EN351 induction hardening or EN40B nitriding processes.

Piper Cams offer a full service shop - from design pattern making, through the casting stage to final heat treatment.

Most cams require a change of followers, some require uprated valve springs. 

Cam Kits with Power Chip.
High performance engines require adjustments to be made to the fueling and ignition to get the best from a performance camshaft. With many engines now fitted with electronic controls even more performance is available if the microprocessor (chip) is also re-programmed. Piper now offer a range of cam kits which include a modified chip - see catalogue for details.
